The New Books List for January is now ready.
This month, along with the usual paper acquisitions, we have purchased a bundle of Wiley E-books. These will be available via NewhamCat, directly from on-site or with your local NHS Athens log-in from home.
They include a variety of titles, from the heavyweight 3-volume Textbook of Hepatology to smaller items such as Getting started in health research. The package also includes key texts, for example Swanton's cardiology and Examination of the newborn.
To access these titles, search for the title on NewhamCat. Click on your result, then scroll down to click on the online link given. On the next page, scroll down to find the PDF links to each chapter.
Check the list to see all 100 new titles, in both paper and ebook format.

Celebrating libraries everywhere
February 4th is National Libraries Day.
A day to celebrate and support all kinds of libraries.
There are events happening across the country - you can find out more at the National Libraries Day website.
Locally Julia Donaldson (of Gruffalo fame) - will be at Canning Town Library.
Joining the public library is free and you can join in the area where you work as well as where you live. Find your nearest library using this handy site. If you have not used a public library lately why not give it a look - there is a huge amount on offer including online resources and ebooks.
