Critical Appraisal
Do you want to be able to assess the relevance of a research paper? These sessions will show you what to look for when conducting a Critical Appraisal.
You can enroll for either or for both sessions. There will be a 10 minute break during each session.
The common aims of the sessions are:
- Understanding the principles of quantitative/qualitative critical appraisal
- Awareness of critical appraisal tools
- practice appraising a research paper
The practice element for each session involves reading through a research paper (supplied in advance) so you will need to book for each session. Contact the library on x8016.
We can also organize a session at a time to suit your group.
