The new books list this month shows well over 100 titles, as our purchases for the current financial year start to arrive.
But first, we must draw your attention to the new Department of Health White Paper, Equity and exellence : liberating the NHS which, as an e-book, is now listed with a full-text link on NewhamCat, our library catalogue. We will also receive a paper copy in due course.
The latest edition of Giddens' Sociology is now available, and we have several new titles on communication, including the useful Behavioral medicine : a guide for clinical practice by Feldman and Christensen which explores in practical terms the dynamics of the doctor-patient relationship.
Students will be assisted by our range of new study skills titles, eg The ultimate study skills handbook by Moore & others and Problem-based learning in health and social care by T Clouston.
See all our new titles, including many in the clinical and surgical areas, by clicking on the list.
And do contact us with suggestions for new items which you think could be of use to members of the local NHS Trusts.
